Defne G. Guvenc

Defne G. Guvenc is an associate with Meyerson, Fox & Conte, P.A. primarily practicing in the trusts and estates department. She is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey.

Defne graduated from Pace University, where she majored in Criminal Justice with a minor in Pre-Law.  She then earned her J.D. from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. During her time in law school, Defne completed internships with Pace Women’s Justice Center, Legal Services of the Hudson Valley and a corporate internship at Jaguar Land Rover.

After graduating from law school, Defne became a member of the New York City Bar Association – Technology, Cyber and Privacy Law Committee. This committee focuses on the ever-changing technology in the legal world, including its regulatory landscape, with a special focus on AI. Defne, along with her committee members, have written letters to State and Federal regulators advising on gaps in our judicial system. Prior to joining Meyerson, Fox & Conte, P.A., Defne was a real estate, estate administration, and landlord/tenant attorney.
