Alana F. Lightenberg

Alana F. Lightenberg, Esq. is an associate with Meyerson, Conte & Fox, P.A., and primarily devotes her practice to assisting individuals with Estate Administration, Estate Planning, Estate Litigation, and Guardianships. Alana is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey. Alana is currently pursuing her L.L.M. in Taxation from Charles Widger School of Law at Villanova University.

Prior to joining the firm, Alana worked as a paralegal and law clerk in private practice in New Jersey and New York where she worked on both New York and New Jersey estate administrations, estate planning matters, guardianships, commercial and residential real estate transactions, corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, and compliance investigations. Alana has a passion for helping individuals through challenging estate administrations and guardianships and treats her clients with a compassionate approach.

Alana obtained her Juris Doctorate from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University where she was recognized on the Dean’s List and received a merit scholarship. While at law school, Alana served as the Vice President for the Health Law Society, as Class Representative for the Health Law Society and for the Tax and Estate Planning Law Society, and as the Secretary for the Older and Wiser Law Students Law Society.

In addition to holding a Juris Doctorate from Elisabeth Haub School of Law of Pace University, Alana has received an A.B.A. Paralegal Certificate from Montclair State University, and a bachelor’s degree in social and behavioral sciences with a minor in criminal justice from Felician University where she was recognized on the Dean’s List and received a merit scholarship. She has also obtained her Notary Public License from the State of New Jersey and is both a remote and electronic notary.

Alana is a member of the Bergen County Bar Association, Essex County Bar Association, New York City Bar Association, and New Jersey Bar Association.
