Michael Carbone

Michael Carbone joined Meyerson, Fox & Conte in 2026, practicing primarily in estate litigation, estate administration, and guardianships. Michael is also part of the firm’s civil litigation practice, engaging in commercial matters and appeals. Michael is an IAPP Certified Information Privacy Professional in the United States (CIPP/US).

Michael graduated from American University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and was on the Dean’s List for two semesters. He then earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2025 where he was the Secretary for the International Law Society and a member of the Brooklyn Law School Mediation Clinic. During law school, Michael completed internships with the New York City Department of Health and the New York State Office of the Attorney General’s Health Care Bureau, focusing on privacy compliance and consumer protection. Michael also completed an internship with the Honorable Christopher S. Romanyshyn J.S.C. in the Essex County Superior Court, Criminal Division. Michael spent his 2L summer and thereafter clerked at a general practice law firm and worked with the commercial litigation and transactional teams, focusing primarily on defense-side matters, entity formation, and contract drafting for health care entities, restaurants, and other businesses.

Michael served as law clerk to the Honorable Cynthia D. Santomauro, J.S.C. in the Essex County Superior Court, Chancery Division, General Equity and Probate Parts for the 2025-2026 court term. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey.
