MFC Attorneys Present at Elder Law Conference

MFC attorneys Sharon Rivenson Mark, Christine H. O'Donnell and Erik Topp featured as presenters at the New Jersey State Bar Association's 28th Annual Elder and Disability Law Retreat on April 16 and 17, 2026. Ms. Mark led a panel on contested guardianships with the Hon. Mary K. Costello, P.J.Ch. of the Superior Court of New Jersey and Kristi Jasberg Robinson, Esq., Chief, Civil Practice Liaison, of the Administrative Office of the Courts. Ms. O'Donnell moderated a discussion on best practices for attorneys appointed as temporary guardians for alleged incapacitated persons with two other leading practitioners. Mr. Topp presented the case law update, advising attendees on recent precedents issued by the New Jersey Supreme Court and Superior Court, Appellate Division.
