Evelyn Nissirios joined Meyerson, Fox, Mancinelli & Conte, P.A. in 2013 as an associate in the family law department. In addition to family law, Evelyn practices in the areas of guardianships, real estate and transactional matters.
Her educational background includes a Juris Doctor degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, and an undergraduate degree with a dual major in Economics and Philosophy from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Upon graduating law school, she served as a legal clerk at the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office Judiciary and Prosecutors Section. There she worked with the Deputy Attorney General and Section Chief providing legal representation to the judiciary and county prosecutors in Federal and State trial court and administrative litigation, handling matters including employment litigation and civil rights claims. Prior to joining the firm, Evelyn focused on complex civil litigation and tax related matters at a general litigation practice in Passaic County.
Due to her fluency in the Greek language, Evelyn continues to serve a large portion of the Greek community in the State of New Jersey, assisting clients with the preparation of their estate administration, matrimonial and general litigation matters.
Evelyn is admitted to the Bar of the State of New Jersey, and the U.S. District Court for the State of New Jersey. Evelyn is a member of the Bergen County Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
